Lillia Healthcare Technologies Appoints Dr. Jacob Mathew as Clinical Director, United States Operations.

Physician, healthcare AI researcher, and global policy contributor to lead Lillia's clinical strategy and research, across the U.S. chronic care market.

Delaware, United States - Lillia Healthcare Technologies, an agentic AI-enabled operating platform that supports the delivery of chronic care, announced today the appointment of Dr. Jacob Mathew as Clinical Director, U.S. Operations. In this role, Dr. Mathew will lead Lillia's clinical strategy, research, and clinical guardrails for U.S. expansion, working closely with Spencer Falk, Co-founder and President of U.S. Operations.

Dr. Mathew brings over a decade of experience across clinical practice, healthcare AI research, digital health leadership, and global AI policy. He has held executive leadership roles in digital

therapeutics, and contributes to international AI governance as a member of the Medical Technologies Working Group of the World Medical Association, which authored the WMA Statement on Artificial and Augmented Intelligence in Medical Care.  He combines frontline clinical insight, academic rigor, and operator-level discipline to support healthcare technologies that are clinically meaningful, ethically responsible, and worthy of patient trust.

Currently, Dr. Mathew serves as the R&D Lead at the Health and Explainable AI Lab at the University of Pittsburgh, where he focuses on explainable AI, clinical AI implementation, and translational research. His expertise spans clinical AI governance, chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, clinical workflow integration, regulatory positioning, and healthcare innovation strategy.
